Rwanda Call to Generosity Received!

Here is an update of how the funds received for the Rwanda Call to Generosity giving initiative are making a difference!

 

From Butare Diocese, Bishop Nathan Gasatura said:

 

• The gift and donation arrived and we’re forever grateful…to God, above and to our generous partners. We will be sending a full report, but the funds have been earmarked and are being used now for immediate needs caused by the pandemic

[food distribution, taking care of pastors and families, readying churches for reopening based on the regulations, etc.]. May God so richly bless you!!!

• From the new Missionary Diocese of Karongi, Bishop Methode: 

Ya nkunga mwaduhaye Dore ibyo irimo gukora — Here is what we are doing with the support given to us (see photos attached of the hand washing station built for Covid-prevention and as a requirement to reopen churches). 

 

• Here are some photos of the supplies purchased (one example of many) for those most in need and for clergy and church staff that have received very reduced salaries during this time. Items given include: beans, rice, maize flour, oil, and soap.
