There has been a change in the leadership of the Diocesan Council. The Rev. Stephen Hall (All Souls, Portland) has stepped down, and the Rev. Donald Nwankwo (The Light of Christ, Denver) will be finishing out Stephen’s term.
My family and I live in Denver, Colorado where I serve as rector at The Light of Christ Anglican Church (TLC). Prior to my call to TLC, I had served in active ministry for much of my life, in church and parachurch contexts, in Nigeria and the United States. Following my ordination by Bp. Ken in 2015, and prior to coming to TLC, I served in bi- vocational capacity while working as a Sr. Logistics Data Analyst.
Born and raised in eastern Nigeria, I still insist it is about as African as it gets. Becky, my wife, is American born from Central Illinois. This “collusion of cultures” resulted in three beloved, young children. If you follow the Premier League and like Arsenal F.C., despite recent performances, we’ll make good friends. – Donald Nwankwo
