All in the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains are invited to a Thanksgiving Convention of our Karen Community on Friday, August 2 – Sunday, August 4 at The Light of Christ Church in Denver, CO.
This year marks the 12th Anniversary of our Karen brothers and sisters (from Myanmar) coming to us in the DRM via the Light of Christ Anglican Church. We will be hosting Karen attendees from various states. If you are able, please come celebrate with us.
Location: The Light of Christ Church | 4000 W. Yale Ave., Denver CO 80219
Theme: Led by the Spirit
Schedule:
- Friday evening – Arrival and Registration.
- Saturday, all day – Worship and Workshop Sessions (meals provided)
- Sunday morning – The convention will conclude with a Eucharistic service presided over by Bishop Ken Ross (a meal afterward)
- Sunday afternoon – Departure
