The Diocese of the Rocky Mountains understands that the Gospel of Christ carries redemptive implications for all of human life. Therefore, we seek to engage ministry in word and deed. We see a deep connection between proclamation and social action as we participate in God’s holistic and comprehensive redemptive work. Our Justice and Mercy Mercy Initiative equips diocesan churches to lean into the brokenness of their local communities with the redemptive power of the Gospel.
ACNA Initiatives
As a diocese, we have a strong partnership with the ACNA’s Matthew 25 Initiative, which exists to “equip and sustain Anglicans working alongside the vulnerable” and envisions an expression of Justice and Mercy existing in every Anglican Church in our province.
